திங்கள் (thingal.oliyonresearch.com) சேவையை ஒளியோன் ஆய்வகம் (Oliyon Research), சென்னை நடத்துகிறது. திங்களைப் பயன்படுத்துவதன் மூலம் கீழ்க்கண்ட விதிமுறைகளை ஏற்கிறீர்கள். ஏற்கவில்லை என்றால் திங்களைப் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டாம்.
Thingal (thingal.oliyonresearch.com) is run by Oliyon Research, Chennai. By using Thingal you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use Thingal.
1. சேவை · The service
திங்கள் சூரியன், நிலவின் நிலைகளிலிருந்து தமிழ் நாட்காட்டியை (திதி, நட்சத்திரம், தமிழ் மாதம், பௌர்ணமி, அமாவாசை, திருவிழா நாட்கள்) கணக்கிட்டுக் காட்டுகிறது; ஒவ்வொரு நாளின் மரபையும் அதன் காரணங்களையும் விளக்குகிறது. கணக்குகள் உங்கள் சாதனத்திலேயே நடக்கின்றன. திங்கள் இலவசம்; வசதிகள் மாறலாம், சில நேரம் சேவை கிடைக்காமலும் போகலாம்.
Thingal works out the Tamil calendar (thithi, star, Tamil month, full and new moons, festival days) from the positions of the Sun and the Moon, and explains each day’s tradition and its reasons. The reckoning happens on your device. Thingal is free; its features may change, and it may sometimes be unavailable.
2. தகவல் மட்டுமே · Information only
திங்கள் சமய அதிகாரமோ, சோதிட ஆலோசனையோ, மருத்துவ ஆலோசனையோ அல்ல. ஒரு சடங்கை எப்போது, எப்படிச் செய்வது என்பதற்கு உங்கள் குடும்ப, கோயில் வழக்கமே முதன்மை. விரதம் போன்றவை உடல்நலத்தைப் பாதிக்கக்கூடும்; நீரிழிவு, கர்ப்பம், மருந்துகள் போன்றவை இருந்தால் முதலில் மருத்துவரை அணுகுங்கள். சூரியனை ஒருபோதும் நேரடியாகப் பார்க்க வேண்டாம்.
Thingal is not a religious authority, astrological advice or medical advice. For when and how to keep a rite, your family’s and your temple’s custom comes first. Fasting and the like can affect health: if you have diabetes, are pregnant or take medicines, ask your doctor first. Never look straight at the Sun.
3. கணக்குகளின் துல்லியம் · Accuracy of the reckoning
திங்கள் திருக்கணித முறையில், உங்கள் தேர்ந்தெடுத்த ஊருக்குக் கணக்கிடுகிறது. வாக்கியப் பஞ்சாங்கங்களும் சில கோயில் நாட்காட்டிகளும் சில மணி நேரம், சில வேளை ஒரு நாள் வேறுபடலாம். கணக்குகளைக் கவனமாகச் சரிபார்த்திருந்தாலும், பிழை இல்லை என்று உறுதியளிக்க இயலாது. முக்கிய நிகழ்வுகளுக்கு உங்கள் கோயிலிலோ குடும்பப் பஞ்சாங்கத்திலோ சரிபாருங்கள்.
Thingal reckons by the Thirukanitha (computed) method, for the town you choose. Vakya panchangams and some temple calendars can differ by hours, sometimes by a day. We check our reckoning carefully but cannot promise it is free of error. For important occasions, check with your temple or family panchangam.
4. உங்கள் தரவு · Your data
உள்நுழையாமல் பயன்படுத்தினால், உங்கள் ஊர், பிறந்த நட்சத்திரம், குடும்ப நாட்கள் உங்கள் உலாவியில் மட்டுமே இருக்கும். உள்நுழைந்தால் அவை உங்கள் கணக்கிலும் சேமிக்கப்படும். குடும்ப நாட்களில் பிறருடைய பெயர்களையும் நாட்களையும் சேர்க்கும்போது, அது உங்கள் குடும்பத்தின் தனிப்பட்ட பயன்பாட்டுக்கு மட்டுமே இருக்கட்டும். விவரங்கள் தனியுரிமை அறிவிப்பில் உள்ளன.
Without signing in, your town, birth star and family days stay only in your browser. If you sign in, they are also kept in your account. When you add other people’s names and days as family days, keep that to your family’s own use. The Privacy Notice has the details.
5. திருத்தங்கள் · Suggestions
நீங்கள் அனுப்பும் திருத்தங்களையும் ஆதாரங்களையும் ஒளியோன் ஆய்வகக் குழு படித்து, திங்களின் பக்கங்களைத் திருத்தப் பயன்படுத்தலாம்; அதற்கான உரிமையை எங்களுக்குத் தருகிறீர்கள். தவறான, புண்படுத்தும், விளம்பர உள்ளடக்கத்தை அனுப்ப வேண்டாம்.
Our team reads the corrections and sources you send and may use them to improve Thingal’s pages; you give us the right to do so. Please do not send false, hurtful or promotional content.
6. கணக்கு · Accounts
கணக்கு தொடங்க 18 வயது நிறைந்திருக்க வேண்டும். உங்கள் மின்னஞ்சலுக்கும் உள்நுழைவுக்கும் நீங்களே பொறுப்பு. இவ்விதிகளை மீறும் கணக்குகளை இடைநிறுத்தவோ நீக்கவோ செய்யலாம். எப்போது வேண்டுமானாலும் உங்கள் தரவைப் பதிவிறக்கலாம், கணக்கை நீக்கலாம்.
You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for your e-mail and your sign-in. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can download your data or delete your account at any time.
7. ஏற்கத்தகாத பயன்பாடு · Acceptable use
திங்களைத் தாக்கவோ, அதிக சுமை ஏற்றவோ, தானியங்கிக் கருவிகளால் தவறாகப் பயன்படுத்தவோ, அதன் மென்பொருளையோ வடிவமைப்பையோ அனுமதியின்றி நகலெடுத்து விற்கவோ கூடாது.
Do not attack Thingal, overload it, misuse it with automated tools, or copy and sell its software or design without permission.
8. உரிமைகள் · Ownership
திங்களின் மென்பொருள், வடிவமைப்பு, சின்னம், விளக்க உரைகள் ஒளியோன் ஆய்வகத்துக்கு உரியவை. மேற்கோள் காட்டிய பழந்தமிழ் நூல் வரிகள் பொதுவுடைமை; Astronomy Engine MIT உரிமத்தின் கீழும், விண்மீன் தரவு (d3-celestial) BSD-3 உரிமத்தின் கீழும் பயன்படுகின்றன.
Thingal’s software, design, logo and explanatory text belong to Oliyon Research. The lines quoted from old Tamil works are in the public domain; Astronomy Engine is used under the MIT licence and the star data (d3-celestial) under the BSD-3 licence.
9. உத்தரவாதம் இல்லை, பொறுப்பு வரம்பு · No warranty, limitation of liability
திங்கள் “உள்ளபடியே” வழங்கப்படுகிறது. சட்டம் அனுமதிக்கும் அளவில், திங்களைப் பயன்படுத்துவதால் அல்லது பயன்படுத்த இயலாததால் ஏற்படும் இழப்பு அல்லது சேதம் எதற்கும் ஒளியோன் ஆய்வகமும் அதன் குழுவும் பொறுப்பேற்க மாட்டார்கள். திங்கள் இலவசச் சேவை என்பதால், எங்கள் மொத்தப் பொறுப்பு சட்டம் கோரும் குறைந்தபட்ச அளவுக்கு மட்டுமே.
Thingal is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, Oliyon Research and its team are not liable for any loss or damage arising from using, or being unable to use, Thingal. Because Thingal is free, our total liability is limited to the minimum the law requires.
10. சட்டமும் மாற்றங்களும் · Law and changes
இவ்விதிமுறைகள் இந்தியச் சட்டத்துக்கு உட்பட்டவை; சென்னை நீதிமன்றங்களுக்கே அதிகார வரம்பு. விதிமுறைகளை மாற்றினால் இப்பக்கத்தில் புதிய பதிப்பை வெளியிட்டு, தேவைப்படும் இடத்தில் உங்கள் ஒப்புதலை மீண்டும் கேட்போம்.
These terms follow Indian law, and the courts in Chennai have jurisdiction. If we change them, we will publish a new version on this page and ask for your agreement again where needed.
